Healing from Light Wounds

The sports star had been receiving medical attention while healing from his light wounds, representatives had said on Monday. The commissioner for information and strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed in an update on X that Joshua was declared medically stable to continue his recovery at home.

“Anthony and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two friends who passed away as they were being readied to be sent home,” Omotosho said.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The two men who died were identified as Latif Ayodele, a personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. The official further stated that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and overcome with emotion over the loss of his two dear friends.”

This update on his health follows the sports world had expressed its support for the champion in the following the devastating accident.
